Get information about parenting a deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH) child from parents. Learn about local Las Cruces resources in the first hour; invited speakers include the Lions Club, New Mexico State University, Hearing Loss Association of America - Las Cruces. Meet, mingle and munch with other families with D/HH children, adults who are D/HH and agencies who support D/HH children. Learn about transitioning your D/HH child to adulthood. Find out about IEPs 504 plans, and what they all mean.

Some questions have been raised about who is welcome at these events and who are we trying to serve: HVNM events are meant for ALL communication modes, for ALL ages 0 - 18, and for ALL educational choices. Deaf and hard of hearing adults and professional who work with D/HH children are welcome.
