PARENT ADVOCACY GROUP


The New Mexico Department of Health has asked Hands & Voices NM, a parent driven non-profit organization, to create a parent advocacy group to discuss NM New Born Hearing Screening (NBHS) Program experience. We are inviting all parents/guardians of children, who have children under 4 years old, and in the process of diagnosis, and/or have a diagnosis of hearing loss, to join the group.

The purpose of the Parent Advocacy Group is to give feedback to the New Mexico Department of Health, NBHS program in order to improve the process and better serve NM families. The group is free to join and will meet virtually via Facebook. The group is open to join at any time.
